Swimming
Swimming is good for people of all ages, but it is especially recommended for the ones that have problems with joint and muscle pain. It activates all the muscles and stimulates oxygen flow to the lungs and heart without doing any tension to the body.
Yoga
This technique to control breathing improves oxygen concentration in the blood and blood circulation in the muscles.
Walking
Walking relieves and tightens the leg muscles. In that way it simulates blood flow throughout the body and decreases blood pressure as well. You should practice short walks 2-3 times a week for the beginning. This is the best exercise which improves blood circulation.
Stretching
The first thing you should do when you wake up is stretch your arms and legs.
Push-ups
In order to be energized during the all day, you should also do at least 10 push-ups in the morning.
Raising heels and toes
Sit with your knees on the floor making an angle of 90 degrees, then raise your toes from the floor but keep the heels on the floor. Put them back on the floor and do this with one and then with the other leg. After that do the both feet together and finish the exercise by swinging the heel to the toes.
Free rotation
If you want to improve the blood stream and keep your legs flexible at the same time, here is an exercise especially good for that purpose. Sit on a chair and rotate your feet in a clockwise direction. Do this at least 10 times.
Joint exercise
Stand up, lift up on your toes and then down on your heels. Feel how your muscles tighten. It should be also done at least 10 times.
Neck exercise
Move your head on the left and then on the right in order to get your neck relaxed. Count to ten, then roll your head around and move down until it touches your chest. Cracking sounds are normal while doing these exercises and they are a sign that you stretch the ligaments of the neck properly.
Hand exercises
Begin with spreading and stretching the fingers of your hands, then make a fist and stay several seconds in that position. After that, relax your joint and move your hand circularly from the shoulder for one minute. The exercise improves blood circulation and prevents cramps.
Cycling and dancing
Dancing is a perfect way to keep your body active and improve the blood circulation. And cycling is an excellent activity for improving blood circulation especially in the lower part of the body.
So, you should ride a bike, swim, dance, or do any other physical activity as often as you can and very soon you will notice the results.
